When you have a green first letter and three grays, the answer lives on exactly one of these pages - and the "best picks" ranking turns that page into a strategy, not just a list. They're generated from the same 8,500-word dictionary that powers the Wordle Solver, so the tool and the lists never disagree.

Our dictionary holds 8,506 five-letter words. Wordle's own answer list is smaller (about 2,300 curated words), but valid guesses come from the larger set.
